Short Description:
This is a newly created role to support our Finance and Operational teams with data management, reporting and analytics. The key focus will be to ensure all system data is accurate and to provide the management teams with timely and insightful reporting allowing them to make more data led decisions to take the business forward. It will also have exposure to financial systems and accounting processes to gain a wider understanding of the finance function.
Full Description:
The Finance Data Apprentice will support the Finance and Operational Teams in collecting, organising, analysing, and interpreting financial data. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience with financial systems, data reporting, and analytical tools, contributing to effective decision-making across the business while completing an accredited apprenticeship qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the collection and validation of financial data from various internal systems.
* Support in preparing regular financial reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
* Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
* Work with data from accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Assist in month end, day to day finance tasks and annual budgeting
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. finance, IT, operations) to improve data workflows.
* Participate in project work related to financial transformation and automation.
* Follow data protection and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications Required:
* Essential: 5 A-Cs at GCSE (including Maths and English)
* Desirable: A-Level or equivalent in a numerical or business-related subject.
Salary - £17,000 per annum (apprenticeship)
