Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our small finance team based in Clitheroe. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a similar position and be proficient in Sage accounting systems and Excel, as well as a strong understanding of accounts payable functions.
Responsibilities
* Raising sales invoices and posting receipts.
* Inputting purchase invoices and posting payments.
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Cashing up and banking.
* Debt collection
* Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
* Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
* Answering incoming telephone calls
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably within a similar environment.
* Proficiency in Sage accounting software and Excel.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
