I am currently recruiting for an MRP Controller to work on a temporary contract for 12 months, with the potential to be extended further. This is a full time 37 hour working week from Monday to Friday. This will be working onsite at a leading helicopter manufacturer based in Yeovil, Somerset.
The purpose of this role is to maintain a world class scheduling system to ensure business objectives are met. The successful applicant will manage and procure contracted parts via Purchase Orders ensuring best price, lead time and quantity.
The job will involve:
Amend / update Operative Networks and schedule requirements
Under guidance, amend / update SAP Material Master Data
Allocate components to ensure best use of company assets in support of all programme objectives
Process Purchase Orders for Range Managed parts and Offload Orders
Place Production Orders for in house manufactured parts
Process and control Service Management Orders
Procure parts from interplant suppliers
To run MRP reporting tools and act upon the data outcomes
To expedite Material Supply Management
To monitor and expedite mod kit and repair list shortages
To provide kits and shop support to onsite and offsite modification and repair embodiments
To provide kit forecasts to internal customers
To take part in Business Improvement as necessary and carry out improvement activity
