Role Definition: Dedicated to working as a customer expert and strategic partner to deliver profitable growth and development for ABP, first class solutions for the customers and maintaining a positive presence within the Customer base. Key responsibilities: To ensure the Sales and other business plans are up to date, tracked and actions both generated and completed. Having the ability to proactively build and strengthen relationships within our accounts by understanding the industry and customer strategy. Drive sales growth/achievement of targets via Commercial team. Development of customer relationships through self and team. Ensure maximum return on investment via in-store exposure/sales growth, supporting customer business plan in line with strategic objectives Full understanding of the business operation (departmental links, etc) Ensure best value and cost-effective use of resources to ensure efficiency on site Complete understanding of profit management - Liaise with Finance team to understand profit management and ensuring profit margins are agreed in advance of customer discussions Maintain good morale and motivation and create a positive relations environment Work effectively with other departments/functions across ABP. Ensure all reporting is completed correctly and in timescales To lead and motivate your team, fostering a culture of professionalism while also utilising coaching skills to develop team members and ensuring personal growth for all in the team. Personal Specification: A background in commercially focused food manufacturing FMCG environment and will have worked with key retailers in the food industry Demonstrable experience in influencing profitability and year on year growth within Commercial management Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a strategic level Previous credible experience of initiating, organising, and managing Commercial projects and campaigns Excellent negotiation and influencing skills Performs productively to a high standard when working in a highly pressured environment to thrive under tight deadlines Consumer-driven with strong interpersonal skills, and proven ability to develop effective working relationships Ability to think creatively, identify and pursue and create opportunities and develop support strategies People management skills with the ability to challenge and delegate
