About this opportunity:
Join us as we establish a new operating model for non-financial risk management across the Group, empowering our team to take end-to-end accountability for risks faced. We are forming a team of risk specialists to support risk and control owners in delivering excellent customer outcomes.
We seek a Manager for Motor Finance to support the development of a Conduct & Compliance centre of excellence, aligned with our Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Your role will include providing analysis of Conduct & Compliance Risks and supporting the implementation of policies to meet strategic and regulatory objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Risk and Control teams to support Conduct & Compliance Risk management and achieve strategic outcomes.
2. Assist in developing and implementing data-driven risk control objectives.
3. Support control measures to ensure they meet control objectives.
4. Oversee compliance assessments against laws, regulations, and standards.
5. Manage actions related to Conduct & Compliance Risk events and breaches, suggesting improvements.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of UK regulations impacting Motor Finance, including CONC, PROD, and Consumer Duty.
* Understanding of compliance frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret data and complex information.
* Ability to develop and communicate risk oversight plans effectively.
* Growth mindset, responsibility-taking, and rapport-building skills.
Preferred Experience:
* Experience in business partnering within retail roles.
