The role
Supervisors play a vital role in our team, consistently delivering exceptional customer service and crafting standout experiences throughout the year. You'll have a genuine passion for connecting with customers and a talent for bringing out the best in their team. As a Supervisor, you lead the charge in fostering a positive atmosphere on the shop floor, collaborating seamlessly with your colleagues to achieve shared goals, and cultivating an environment that encourages continuous development within your team.
Beyond just the basics of communication, you'll be the go-to for keeping the info flowing smoothly throughout the store. Team up with your colleagues, the store manager, and neighboring stores, maintaining an open and friendly communication flow that significantly contributes to the team's success on the shop floor.
In your role as a Supervisor, your natural leadership shines through as you handle conversations with finesse, set and manage expectations, and provide unwavering support to your team. Balancing the needs of the business while keeping team morale high is the key to your success in this dynamic and influential position.
Key Information
We're looking for a new supervisor to help our team build on last years success and help us achieve our best year yet. We currently have a 7% LFL vs. last year, gross turnover of £1m+ and retail margin of 21%! Next year we're aiming for a 5% LFL.
Our team have a huge passion for giving our customers the most amazing experience shopping with us, with a 100% mystery shop and lots of 5* Google reviews. The majority of our team have worked at Lush for less than a year.
We're looking for someone who has the passion for training and coaching to join our management team and help grow our knowledge to enhance our customers' experience. You must be proactive, self motivated and able to balance multiple tasks at the same time. Leading by example is part of day-to-day life for our management team in Swansea, so part of the interview will include a shop floor trial where you can showcase your best 5* customer service with our customers. Chrissie (Manager) won an award for 'Manager Leading by Example' at the most recent Manager's meeting in Glasgow.

Hours available: 18 - 24 hours per week, availability MUST INCLUDE: Saturday, Sunday and Monday due to team availability. You will only be required to work 1 weekend day each week, rarely you'll be working both weekend days to help support large events.

* Keep your store looking top-notch with eye-catching displays, cleanliness that sparkles, and smart stock management.
* Build connections in the local community to make stepping into our store an even more special experience for our customers.
* Take charge of your personal growth by diving into training opportunities, teaming up with other shops in Lush, and getting a taste of various aspects of our business.
