Robert Half is excited to partner exclusively with a fast-growing, private equity-backed organization to recruit a new Sales Ledger Clerk. This is a newly created role due to ongoing business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing invoices accurately and promptly.
2. Managing the invoice tracker.
3. Chasing overdue debts to reduce debtor days, following company procedures.
4. Processing new customer applications and conducting credit checks.
5. Managing and maintaining insurance to minimize company risk.
6. Leading weekly credit control meetings.
7. Sending monthly customer statements.
8. Resolving customer queries efficiently.
9. Applying correct VAT treatment.
10. Accurately allocating bank receipts and reconciling daily.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years of experience in Sales Ledger.
2. Ability to work flexibly under pressure and meet deadlines.
3. Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets.
4. Good verbal communication skills.
5. Strong numeracy skills.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Self-managed and capable of working independently.
The role offers a salary of up to £28,000 plus benefits. The work arrangement is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Applicants should be able to commute to the office.
