This role is key to supporting workplace services across a large, fast-paced manufacturing site. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of six vending machines, ensuring they are fully stocked, clean, and operating efficiently while also helping to maximise product availability and sales. Working as part of a team of four, supported by an on-site manager, this is a hands-on role that involves regular movement across site, including walking long distances and using stairs. The role will involve lone working for the majority of the shift, so confidence in managing your own workload and working independently is essential. What you’ll do Refill and maintain six vending machines across the site throughout the day Monitor stock levels and ensure machines are consistently well-presented and fully operational Support sales performance by ensuring product availability and appropriate stock rotation Drive a company vehicle to transport products safely across the site Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in and around vending areas Respond to any issues with machines promptly, escalating where necessary Provide a professional and friendly service when interacting with site staff Work independently while maintaining communication with the wider team What you’ll bring A full UK manual driving licence (essential) Must be aged 25 or over (due to insurance requirements for site vehicle use) Previous experience in a vending, retail, or similar role is desirable but not essential Strong customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner Ability to work independently for extended periods ( lone working ) A proactive and organised approach to managing workload Willingness to work across a large site, involving regular walking and use of stairs Why Sodexo?: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
