Overview
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to design and optimize high-performing marketing websites that are visually compelling, user-centric, and conversion-focused. The ideal candidate has expertise in Component-Based Design and understands how design, content, and performance come together on modern JAMstack websites (built with Contentful, Algolia, and ). You will work closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to translate brand and campaign goals into intuitive, engaging digital experiences that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
This is a hybrid role (3 days per week) located in our London Office (Canary Wharf).
Responsibilities
1. Design intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging marketing websites and landing pages.
2. Translate business and marketing requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
3. Create responsive designs optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
4. Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to support campaigns, product launches, and experiments (A/B testing).
5. Maintain and evolve design systems, UI patterns, and brand consistency across web properties.
6. Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs (QA and design handoff).
7. Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams.
8. Design modular, component-based layouts that ensure design scalability and flexibility across the CMS.
9. Collaborate with developers to review and QA live sites hosted on Netlify.
10. Design search and discovery interfaces (filters,facets) that leverageAlgoliacapabilities.
11. Optimizedesigns for conversion, accessibility (WCAG), performance, and SEO.
12. Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design improvements.
13. Stayup to datewith UI/UX trends, web standards, and conversion-focused best practices.
Qualifications
14. 2-5+ years of experience designing marketing or brand websites.
15. Strong expertise in UI/UX principles, interaction design, and visual design.
16. Proficiency with design tools such as Figma (specifically Auto-Layout and Components), Sketch, or Adobe XD.
17. Strong understanding of Component-Based Design or Atomic Design principles.
18. Familiarity with JAMstack concepts and how they influence design constraints.
19. Ability to design advanced Search UX patterns (instant search, filtering).
20. Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
21. Knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals (no coding required but must speak "developer language" regarding layout feasibility).
22. Familiarity with modern web performance principles (., designing for fast loading states).
23. Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
24. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
25. Knowledge of design-to-development workflows and clear documentation practices.
