Plant Operator
Altera Recruitment Group is pleased to be partnering with a well established organisation operating within the power generation and renewable energy sector. Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Plant Operator to join their Anaerobic Digestion Facility in Gloucestershire.
The role of a Plant Operator would suit an individual who is hands on, safety conscious, and keen to develop technical skills within a growing and sustainable sector.
Key Responsibilities of a Plant Operator
* Operate site machinery and material handling equipment, including telehandlers and forklifts
* Monitor plant performance and promptly report operational issues or defects
* Assist with scheduled inspections and basic maintenance activities
* Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient site operations
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a plant, industrial, agricultural, or similar operational environment
* Willingness to undertake training and gain relevant machinery certifications
* Strong awareness of health and safety standards
* Physically fit and comfortable working in a practical, hands on role
* Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
