A global and hugely successful business is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Developer to join the team. This role is urgent to join an award-winning, private equity, acquisitive company who are continuing to enable the entrepreneurial spirit of SMEs globally. The role is defined as a standalone role for their brand-new E-commerce product, following a recent acquisition.
The role will require
1. Design, code, test and maintain the software to ensure optimum functionality for end users.
2. Perform key portions of the system development lifecycle
3. Champion a "continuous improvement" philosophy striving to improve the software and personal and professional technical knowledge
4. Work towards achieving or exceeding the departmental goals and expectations
5. Demonstrate leadership and mentoring behaviours with colleagues and peers.
Experience required
6. At least 5 years' commercial experience developing with the .Net framework and T-SQL
7. Familiar with Agile and the Scrum methodology
8. Experience creating custom .Net components, Windows form applications, windows services and web applications
9. A strong understanding of building and consuming APIs
This is a real solid opportunity for someone to make their stamp within as business and have full autonomy to make a difference. Their offices are offices based in the US; you'd be happy to work with an international team (on UK time zone still).
