Overview
Driver Hire Huddersfield are seeking Category C - Class 2 HGV Drivers to join us working alongside clients based throughout the Kirklees areas of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Meltham and Holmfirth. These roles are for temporary and ad-hoc bookings assisting Clients covering holiday and sickness and increase in business demands. A high level of these roles can mature into permanent positions.
Responsibilities
* Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off.
* Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo get to their destination safely.
* Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
* Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered.
Requirements
* Be in possession of a Cat C (Class 2) UK driving licence
* Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Be able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UK
* Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences

* These roles may also include non-driving duties such as loading and unloading the vehicle; therefore candidates should be comfortable with doing some lifting and a good demonstration of safe loading.
