As the founder and current Managing Director prepares to retire, ETB is seeking a new Managing Director to lead the business through its next phase of growth and development. The anticipated start date is Q2 2026.

The Role
The Managing Director will have overall responsibility for executing the company’s strategy and delivering its business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
* Full accountability for financial performance and operational execution
* Overseeing daily operations and ensuring effective organisational leadership and decision-making
* Working closely with the Board and senior management team to identify new opportunities and drive sustainable growth
* Managing risk and reward in strategic decision-making
* Continuing to foster ETB’s entrepreneurial and high-performance culture
* Developing talent and strengthening leadership across the organisation
About You
Industry experience is not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead, execute, and deliver results. You will likely bring:
* A proven track record of driving performance and achieving results
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
* The ability to lead and inspire high-calibre teams
* A hands-on, ambitious, and highly motivated mindset
* Confidence working at both strategic and operational levels
Location
This role is based in Dalbeattie (near to Dumfries) and requires on-site presence. Occasional domestic and international travel will be expected.
