About the Candidate
We are seeking an experienced Corporate & Commercial Partner to help lead and grow this part of the practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer who wants to join a founder-led business with real momentum and the freedom to make a genuine impact.
The successful candidate will be a strong technician, a trusted client adviser and someone who enjoys helping win, build and deepen client relationships.
Role Responsibilities:
* Leading on corporate transactions and commercial advisory work
* Managing and growing a portfolio of clients and referrers
* Advising on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, restructures and broader strategic corporate matters
* Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
* Helping shape the growth and direction of the Corporate team
* Delivering on the sales and revenue targets of the team
* Working closely with leadership on strategy, recruitment and service development
* Driving business development activity and profile-building in the market
* Maintaining high standards of client care, technical delivery and team collaboration
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 8+ years’ PQE
* Strong corporate and commercial experience
* A following is welcomed, but we are equally interested in candidates with a strong reputation, growth mindset and relationship-led approach
* Commercially minded and confident with clients
* Strong leadership and mentoring capability
* Entrepreneurial, collaborative and energised by growth

This role will be office-based with hybrid working opportunities. Our main office space is in Liverpool Street, London.
