Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Location: Widnes
Salary: £28,000 per annum (with salary increase following successful probation)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established transport company based in Widnes, who are looking to hire an experienced Operations Supervisor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the day-to-day operations of the transport function
* Producing and maintaining reports using Excel and other IT systems
* Liaising with drivers, planners, and management to ensure smooth operations
* Identifying areas for improvement and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in an operations or supervisory role (transport or logistics desirable)
* Strong IT skills, with advanced Excel experience essential
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and part of a team
