The Role (Site-Based):
Ferrovial Construction seeks Graduate Engineers to assist with, and sometimes manage, daily activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development program aims to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Section/Project Managers and collaborate with the site team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage or assist with project packages from start to finish.
* Contribute to health and safety compliance and uphold quality standards.
* Assist in coordinating team activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Work with procurement to ensure financial compliance.
* Support project management in resource planning, performance management, and employee development.
* Promote Ferrovial’s values and take ownership of assigned work.
* Ensure adherence to safety regulations on site.
Skills and Competencies:
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
* Degree or master’s in engineering (all disciplines considered).
* Motivated to learn and contribute to the team and program.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Team player with effective collaboration skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Proactive, commercially aware, and familiar with Microsoft Office.
Interpersonal Skills:
* Highly motivated and resilient.
* Logical thinker and eager to learn.
* Flexible and results-driven with strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
* Engineering experience.
* CSCS Card.
