Personal Assistant in Acomb, York. Job Ref: YJMO/B98
The job
As a Personal Assistant you will support a 62‑year‑old lady with all aspects of daily living. Personal care support will include helping her to shower, wash her hair, dress, and providing help with meals and drinks. Household tasks such as washing up and laundry will also be required.
The role also involves taking her shopping, collecting and organising her daily medication, and escorting her to appointments and social outings.
The right person
* Kind, caring, outgoing and chatty.
* Qualified driver with business insurance to use your vehicle for work.
* Interest in arts and crafts desirable, as the employer enjoys upcycling and recycling.
The hours
Up to 30 hours a week, covering staff holidays or sickness. Days and hours are mutually agreed, with flexible working offered. The ideal candidate will be available to work across all seven days, including some evenings.
Permanent part‑time hours may become available.
The rates of pay and benefits
£12.60 per hour.
5.6 weeks (pro‑rata) paid holidays each year.
