Job Description: Networker & Community Engagement Officer (Canterbury & Surrounding Areas)
Part Time 22.5hrs | £14,500 pa
Job Purpose: To develop and implement community and marketing initiatives aligned with Home Instead's mission and values to strengthen the brand and grow our market share. The role is fully community-based and requires candidates to work across Canterbury & surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop relationships in the local community, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities by growing and leveraging your network.
2. Engage in face-to-face, phone, email, and video call networking with community stakeholders and potential RPNs, aiming for a minimum of 35 face-to-face community networking impressions weekly.
3. Work towards agreed targets for Referral Provider touchpoints.
4. Deliver promotional activities both face-to-face and virtually to increase awareness of Home Instead's services and employment opportunities.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key RPNs, with regular touchpoints to drive client and Care Professional enquiries.
6. Plan and execute community marketing events, including fairs, exhibitions, and recruitment events.
7. Consistently communicate our mission, vision, values, and value proposition.
8. Manage social media activity, ensuring digital content is engaging and up-to-date.
9. Raise awareness of Home Instead's brand and support national marketing campaigns and recruitment initiatives.
10. Track and record enquiries, using data to optimize messaging and community education strategies.
11. Maintain accurate data to analyse performance against strategic goals.
12. Manage time effectively, prioritizing critical tasks and adapting to business needs.
13. Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities policies.
14. Perform any other duties necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Proven ability to build strong relationships in a community setting using various tools and techniques.
* Confidence in face-to-face, phone, email, and virtual networking.
* Ability to deliver talks on aging-related topics such as Dementia, Fraud Prevention, Nutrition & Hydration.
* Understanding of marketing principles and experience managing digital media platforms.
* Good knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and virtual communication platforms.
* Experience using data and analytics for decision-making.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, capable of delivering engaging presentations.
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
* Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently.
* Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
* Competent in using CRM databases to manage relationships.
