Senior Pharmacy Technician - Ward Services
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the ward technician team in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to provide support at a higher level to the clinical pharmacists as part of the pharmacy service within NHS Grampian.
* Involve medicines reconciliation, assessing and checking patients’ own supply, ordering and dealing with any queries of supply, and assisting in the organisation of prescriptions and supply for discharge.
* Work closely with the pharmacist and train and supervise less experienced technicians.
Qualifications
* Applications are invited from registered technicians with suitable relevant experience.
* A dispensary checking technician qualification is required and, if not already held, must be undertaken.
