An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 3 to work in the Trauma and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy service. We are looking for a new team member with excellent communication and motivational skills to join our busy T&O department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and hardworking individual who is passionate about patient care, who can work both independently and function well in a team.
Main duties of the job
In this ward based role you will primarily work under the indirect supervision of Physiotherapists; you must be able to work well both individually and as part of a team.

Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn’t mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t ‘fluency’, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. Person specification
Knowledge
* Appreciation of the principles of physiotherapy practice and procedures
* Understanding of the principles of manual handling
* Welsh language speaking/listening skills at Level 3 or above
Experience
* Experience in working as part of a team, in a busy and varied workplace
* IT literate
Qualifications
* Good standard of education; NVQ level 3 or equivalent. GCSE Maths and English
