Job Title: Registered Health Professional (HCP)
Contract: Bank
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

JOB PURPOSE:
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking clinical duties related to immunisation, primarily delivered on-site in schools for primary and secondary school children within community clinic settings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Vaccinate 20 to 25 school children per hour during flu season.
* Collaborate with team, organization, and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
* Assist Programme Managers, Team Lead, and Clinical Lead as needed.
* Attend sites across different locations as required.
* Provide effective, evidence-based care to patients.
* Participate in clinical supervision and staff development.
* Report and monitor clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints in line with policies.
* Participate in audits, recommend improvements, and share findings with the team.
* Attend clinical supervision sessions.
* Contribute actively to team meetings.
* Undertake Gillick Competency Assessments and obtain verbal consent from parents/caregivers.
* Perform other duties appropriate to the role.
* Comply with company policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
* Registered Pharmacists with GPhC, Paramedics and Physiotherapists with HCPC, Dental Hygienists and Therapists with GDC, Optometrists with GOC.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Experience working within PGD frameworks.
* Knowledge of the Routine National Immunisation Schedule.
* Understanding and implementation of informed consent principles.
* Current immunisation training or willingness to undertake training.
* Computer literacy.
* Knowledge of immunisation schedules, cold chain management, ordering, and transport arrangements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Customer service and people management skills.
* Assertive, team-oriented, and critical thinking abilities.
* Driving license (desirable).
