My Client is recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer in the Water Sector

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in electrical engineering aspects of transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects domestically and internationally.

Locations
Opportunities are available in our Bristol, Surrey, and Derby offices, with consideration for other locations.
Your Responsibilities
1. Lead a team in delivering technical design work adhering to relevant standards and high-quality benchmarks.
2. Prepare project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Manage project timelines and budgets to meet milestones and deadlines.
4. Collaborate with UK and international teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards in design processes.
Candidate Requirements
1. Chartered Electrical Engineer.
2. Significant experience in the Water Industry.
3. Proven leadership in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres/switchgear, electrical installations and systems in industrial or process environments, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX practices, production of SLD/BCD, earthing and bonding, and familiarity with UK standards.
5. Proficiency in digital analysis tools such as Trimble/Amtech, following local and national guidance.
