Salary: Circa £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience
Location: Clitheroe
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am4:30pm, Friday early finish

The Role:
As an Engineering Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project delivery by producingaccurate, competitive, and commercially sound estimates. Your responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing contract documents, specifications, and engineering drawings
* Logging and managing quotation enquiries for precision-engineered products and services
* Compiling detailed cost assessments, bids, and tender submissions
* Calculating material, labour, transport, plant, and equipment hire costs
* Sourcing and negotiating quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors
* Preparing andsubmittingprofessional quotations to clients
* Clarifying client requirements and providing tailored engineering solutions
* Conducting site visits and assessing health & safety and risk requirements
* Keeping up to date with inflation, exchange rates, and market trends
* Presenting bids, answering client queries, and supporting work quality submissions
* Liaising closely with Sales, Design, Production, and wider engineering teams
The Candidate:
* A Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* 35 years experience in a precision engineering, manufacturing, or engineering environment
* A solid background in mechanical engineering or precision manufacturing
* Strong commercial awareness and sound business judgement
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
* Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
* Knowledge of specialist sub-contract machining and manufacturing processes
* Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills
