Support Worker Roles and Responsibilities
* Experience in a caring environment
* Experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities
* Ability to work unsociable hours, including weekends and bank holidays
* Excellent communication skills to engage with service users
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Confidence to work independently and as part of a team
* Passionate about making a positive difference
* Excellent writing skills
Role-specific criteria:
* Ability to work with service users both in a team and individually
* Good communication skills in English and Welsh, and other communication methods
* Ability to record information accurately, both written and numerical
* Ability to work with families, carers, and support teams
* Flexibility to cover required shifts
* Empathetic approach to those we support
* Willingness to undertake relevant training and diploma levels
