The Opportunity A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Derby is seeking a creative and passionate Drama Teacher to join its Performing Arts faculty from January 2026. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a teacher who: Holds QTS, PGCE, or will be newly qualified in 2026 Has a strong background in Drama, Theatre Studies or Performing Arts Can plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that inspire creativity and confidence Uses assessment and feedback to promote progress and develop performance skills Is reflective, enthusiastic and keen to contribute to the wider creative life of the school Experience directing school productions, leading workshops, or supporting extra-curricular activities would be an advantage.
