Forklift Operative/Warehouse | Newtownards | £ (Days)
Staffline Ireland is currently seeking a dayshift forklift/warehouse operative to join our client, a leading dairy manufacturer, on an initial temporary basis at their site in Newtownards.
Role:
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for the movement of goods withing a busy distribution warehouse.
Duties:
1. Forklift Driving.
2. Shunting duties (once trained)
3. Loading of products onto various
4. Preparing orders for despatch.
5. Checking products for defects.
6. Reporting breakdowns, spillages, quality control issues.
Criteria:
7. Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
8. Full driving licence (required for shunter training)
9. Previous experience working nightshift positions preferred.
10. Previous warehouse/production experience preferred.
Hours of work:
11. Earlies 6am - 2pm
12. Lates 2pm - 10pm
13. Shifts rotate weekly between earlies and lates
Rate of pay:
14. £ per hour
15. Overtime paid after 37 hours.
16. Additional £ for every hour shunting (when trained)
17. Further shift premium added in recognition of working late shifts
