Salary: £28,000 per annumplus benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and reliable payroll professional to join an organisation that truly values its staff, supporting a team of over 1,000 employees across the region.
You can work remotely or from one of the offices in Yorkshire, with occasional travel to the Head Office for meetings.

The Role
As Payroll Officer, you will:
Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for approx. 1,100 employees
Ensure compliance with tax, pension, and employment legislation
Maintain accurate payroll systems and employee records
Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
Prepare payroll reports and liaise with finance and HR to ensure accuracy
Manage leave, deductions, and terminations effectively
What Were Looking For
? Proven experience in a payroll processing role
? Solid knowledge of payroll systems, tax, and employment legislation
? High attention to detail and strong numerical skills
? Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
? Strong communication and problem-solving skills
