Early Years Teacher Thanet
Academics in Canterbury are seeking a nurturing, creative, and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our welcoming and inclusive early years settings in Thanet. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support young learners at the very beginning of their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment
Promote the emotional, social, and cognitive development of all pupils
Monitor and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records
Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure consistent support
Foster positive relationships and encourage independence and curiosity
Uphold safeguarding policies and promote equal opportunities for all children
What We're Looking For:
A qualified Early Years Teacher (QTS or EYTS)
Passion for early years education and child development
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK
