Customer Quality Engineer Electronics 8D - Oldham Greater Manchester
Bluegate are urgently seeking a Customer Quality Engineer with an electronics background to join our Oldham-based client.
You would be joining a global organisation within the semiconductor and automotive industry.

The Role
As a key member of the Quality and Customer Support function, you will be responsible for managing customer claims from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining outstanding customer communication throughout. Your responsibilities will include:
Handling customer claims from receipt to closure, including initial analysis where required
Ensuring all claims are resolved effectively and on time, implementing necessary containment actions to safeguard the customer
Working with colleagues at all levels and across global manufacturing locations to identify root causes and drive corrective actions
Providing regular updates to customers, maintaining a responsive and solutions-focused approach
Candidate Requirements
HND / HNC / Degree or relevant experience in, electronics / semiconductor manufacturing
Technical knowledge of semiconductor / electronics products
Strong hands-on use of 8D problem-solving techniques
Knowledge of VDA 6.3 / automotive standard
Fluent written and spoken English
