This is an excellent opportunity for an established HR professional who is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and enjoys operating as a trusted partner to managers and leaders across the business.
The Role
Reporting into the wider HR function, the HR Adviser will deliver high-quality, practical HR support across the organisation. The role is broad and hands-on, with responsibilities including:

Providing expert guidance across the full spectrum of employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases

Acting as a key point of contact for line managers, delivering clear, pragmatic and commercially sound HR advice
*
Supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives
*
Assisting with recruitment activity, onboarding and induction processes
*
Contributing to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes
*
Ensuring all HR activity is aligned with current UK employment legislation and best practice
*
Managing a varied workload independently while working collaboratively with the wider HR team
About You
*
Demonstrable experience in a generalist HR Adviser role
*
Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
*
Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities
*
Confident in advising, influencing and constructively challenging stakeholders at all levels
*
CIPD qualified or currently working towards qualification (desirable)
*
Highly developed communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
