Senior Structural Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity within both new and existing projects, creating bespoke, safe and cost‑effective engineering solutions for our clients in the energy sector. Passionate about engineering, with some energy industry experience or transferable skills, you could be the right candidate for this full‑time, ongoing contract role. Previous experience using STAAD is essential. The role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexible hybrid working model, with an immediate start available for the successful candidate.
Key Duties
* Identify the scope of work required.
* Input to project plans and schedules.
* Identify areas of concern during any project or study.
* Produce cost‑effective, safe and fit‑for‑purpose engineering solutions that add value and address operational and maintenance issues in the design.
* Supervise the time of others.
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver the best solution.

About You
You will enjoy team working, be customer and quality focused, operate with your own initiative, and respond to the business and client needs. A degree in a relevant subject and significant previous experience in detail design with an understanding of other disciplines is required. Experience with AutoDesk products and STAAD is essential.
