Cober Hill Hotel is in the picturesque village of Cloughton in Scarborough. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to join our team on a full-time basis, with an immediate start.
Position: Hours by negotiation (up to full time)
Location: Cloughton, Scarborough
Working Hours between: 7:00am - 8:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
Rate of pay: from £14 per hour
As a chef at Cober Hill, you will be responsible for covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, ensuring that our guests enjoy delicious and satisfying meals throughout their stay. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings.
* Ensure timely delivery of meals to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
* Work closely with the senior chef to manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on cooking home-cooked meals.
* Familiarity with a 3-3-3 dinner menu structure is preferred.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards of quality.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
