Shop Manager Role at Sue Ryder
As a Shop Manager, you will leverage your retail experience to drive business growth, increase sales, and achieve targets. You will lead your team to deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers, work with the local community to generate donated stock, and recruit, train, and retain a volunteer team providing leadership and guidance.
You will set high standards for merchandising and housekeeping, prioritize health and safety, and manage stock processes to ensure the shop is well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will support in-store campaigns to promote Sue Ryder and its national fundraising initiatives.
Effective management of stock through the Epos system is essential. To be successful, you should have the commercial awareness to meet sales targets, proven team leadership skills, and the ability to manage a large volunteer team. Engaging with people, maintaining a positive attitude, and understanding financial and IT administration are crucial.
