At Clarus Education, we are supporting the recruitment of a FE College based in West London who are looking to recruit a motivated, agile manager with experience of delivering apprenticeships.
You will be responsible for the curriculum management of Engineering (Mechanical and Electronic) across the Technical Apprenticeship School, building effective working relationships with employers and external bodies and ensuring the highest standard of quality assurance, whilst line managing a team of diverse lecturers and assessors.
Key Responsibilities - Operational Manager - Engineering Apprenticeships
1. Manage curriculum delivery for Mechanical and Electronic Engineering apprenticeships
2. Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners
3. Ensure exceptional quality assurance across all provision
4. Lead a diverse team of lecturers and assessors
5. Drive growth in the Engineering apprenticeship portfolio
Person Specification (Essential) - Operational Manager - Engineering Apprenticeships
6. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related subject
7. Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DET)
8. Assessor and Verifier qualifications
9. Minimum 3 years' experience teaching/assessing Engineering
10. Proven track record meeting targets and ensuring successful outcomes
11. Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and learner pathways
12. Experience delivering apprenticeships
13. Excellent leadership and team management skills
