The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and success in their remortgage division, our client is seeking an experienced Remortgage Team Leader to manage a team of remote remortgage fee earners. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role in a high-performing department, while still working from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and support a team of remote remortgage fee earners, ensuring performance and service delivery targets are consistently met.
* Act as a point of escalation for complex or technical matters, providing hands-on support and guidance where needed.
* Conduct regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to develop individual and team capability.
* Monitor case progression and team productivity using case management systems and performance dashboards.
* Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to improve workflows, processes, and client experience.
* Promote a strong team culture, even in a remote environment, through regular communication, engagement, and support.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
About You
* Proven experience managing a remortgage or conveyancing team, ideally in a remote or hybrid environment.
* In-depth knowledge of the remortgage process, legal requirements, and case handling from inception to completion.
* Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop remote team members.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Highly organised, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
* Confident using legal case management systems and remote working technology.
* An experienced fee earner with relevant expertise in remortgages
