GMP Recruitment Agency Ltd are proud to be partnered with a well-established and highly respected legal firm in the Worcestershire area. We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Solicitor to join their growing and dynamic team.

The Role
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will play a key role in advising clients on a variety of corporate transactions and legal matters. You will be working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, delivering commercially focused legal advice.
There is an existing and active body of client work ready to be undertaken from day one. Alongside managing this workload, the successful candidate will also be expected to develop and deliver their own client relationships and pipeline, contributing to the continued growth of the department.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of corporate matters including mergers & acquisitions, company restructures, and shareholder agreements
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of corporate legal documents
* Leading transactions and acting as a key point of contact for clients
* Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to clients
* Supporting and collaborating with colleagues on complex deals
* Building, maintaining, and developing your own client base
The ideal candidate
We are keen to speak with candidates who:
* Are a qualified solicitor in England & Wales (NQ – 3 years PQE considered)
* Have demonstrable experience within corporate law
* Have experience drafting Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs)
* Have experience drafting Joint Venture Agreements
* Have experience with EMI schemes and other share acquisition / incentive arrangements
* Have experience holding “first chair” on transactions, confidently leading deals and managing client relationships
* Possess strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Demonstrate excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Have the ability and ambition to generate and grow client relationships
* Are able to work both independently and as part of a team
