Job Description
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading and privately owned construction company who are currently looking for a Civil Estimator to join their team in the Hampshire area. \n The salary is up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus a Company Car/Car Allowance and a Fantastic Benefits Package. \n Providing comprehensive estimating service controlling either an assigned project and/or a portfolio projects \n* Prepare tender estimates from first principles using conquest estimating software, drawing on previous experience and knowledge of techniques, outputs, sub-contractor quotations and material prices unique to each tender.
\n* Identifying potential risks from initial analyzing of project documentation \n* Proactively lead and take part in discussions and negotiation with suppliers and sub-contractors during the tender process \n* Keeping up to date knowledge of inflation, exchange rates and projected timescale costs \n* Lead and take part in handover meetings with contract and commercial colleagues to ensure all elements of the tender process and procedures are handed over and project complexities are fully understood by all parties prior to signing of contract \n*3 year’s experience working as a Civils Estimator in Construction \n* Experience and knowledge of building regulations \n* CSCS Card \n* Full UK Driving License \n* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
