Planner – From £30,400 per annum – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - AFH

The Planner position is integral to our fast‑moving and collaborative planning function within our Costa Express team. It plays a key role in supporting the operational delivery of Costa’s Away‑from‑Home business by coordinating daily activities across the Express Field Service teams. Through effective planning, the role contributes to the achievement of performance targets and the maintenance of high service standards. It also involves regular engagement with internal stakeholders to balance workloads, adapt to shifting priorities, and promote continuous improvement across planning processes.

What you’ll do
* Take accountability for the planning and scheduling of a Field Region in entirety and ensuring all jobs are planned effectively
* Strong stakeholder management experience with Engineers, Service Team Managers, and Brand Excellence team
* Achieve Service Level Agreements (SLAs) set to ensure machines are kept trading, ensuring all machines receive planned maintenance visits in line with annual requirements
* Daily/Weekly reporting on Planning Team key deliverables
* Provide support on planning‑related projects under the guidance of the Planning Lead
Who you are
* Proven experience in a planning role using either manual planning or optimised scheduling software
* Skilled in compiling and producing clear, insightful reports
* Stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail
* Excellent communicator, with experience in influencing and engaging stakeholders
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident use of Pivot Tables and formulas

2–3 days per week hybrid working based at our Loudwater Head Office.
