JOB TITLE: SHIFT TEAM LEADER / OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
This post is based offshore on the Kittiwake on a 3/4/3/5 rota.
Key Responsibilities
* This is a 50 / 50 position that covers 2 roles:
* Shift Team Leader
* Working supervisory position, responsible for directing and coordinating activities to provide day-to-day leadership for the operations team members, ensuring that the process plant and systems are optimized to meet environmental and production targets.
* Operations Supervisor.
* Responsible for management of the multi-disciplined Operations Teams, ensuring that the process plant and systems are optimized to meet environmental and production targets. Liaison with the client for all Operations and Production matters to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of KPI targets.
* This is a senior supervisory position and as such will be held accountable and responsible for the performance of their team.
* Responsible for ensuring all Operations equipment for life support and safety systems are maintained and available.
* Ensure optimization and efficiency of systems to meet production targets in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding maintenance and inspection requirements.
* Liaise with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all PMs are aligned so that only one outage is required encompassing all planned activities for the period.
* Liaise with the client and onshore support teams regarding all operational optimization of both topside & subsea equipment.
* Auditing and assurance of data ensuring it is reported in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy in support of production optimization and client quality expectations.
* Ensure all documentation, daily logs, and trip handovers are of a high standard and accurate.
* Responsible for delivery of 28-day / 7-day planning & maintenance activities within the Operations Areas. Liaise with Maintenance Supervisor to optimize resource allocations.
* Assure quality of Maintenance Management System work order close-outs.
* Liaison with ICP as required for verification testing, ensuring resource is allocated and available at the agreed time.
* S/D & Projects focal point for Operations Area.
* Act as Permit System Area Owner, performing permit review and validation for areas as designated on site.
* As STL, act as permit coordinator & area authority under the Control of Work system. The STL is the issuing authority for the Operations Supervisors' areas on a shift-by-shift basis.
* Attend onshore meetings as required, pursue issues/queries with teams and the client as required (onshore or offshore).
* In conjunction with Operations personnel, review any proposed modifications/work packs prior to implementation and provide feedback as appropriate.
* Responsible for delivery of appraisals for Operations Teams, setting objectives, mid-year, and end-of-year reviews of technicians and STL’s within the Operations department.
* Lead role in mentoring Operations personnel, and as a Competence Management System assessor.
* Complete the Competence Management System for the role in a timely manner.
* Stand-in for the position of OIM as required.
* As STL, ensure all Operations equipment for life support and safety systems are maintained and available.
* As STL, ensure appropriate data is collected, collated, and reported in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy in support of production optimization and client quality expectations.
* As STL, take responsibility for and ownership of 28-day / 7-day planning & maintenance activities within the discipline and as delegated by the OS.
* As STL, ICP focal point as tasked by the OS. Make sure verification testing is organized so that the resource and permitry are available at the agreed time.
* As STL, S/D & Projects focal point for Operations Area as tasked by OS.
* Input into appraisals of Operations technicians – assisting with setting objectives, mid-year, and end-of-year reviews of technicians within the Operations department.
* Provide cover for the Control Room Operator as required.
* Understand and ensure compliance by teams regarding the installation safety case, statutory requirements, and safe systems of work.
* Ensure contractors and vendors comply with Petrofac safe systems of work and current legislation.
* Emergency Response:
* Perform Deputy OIM role and be able to perform OIM role if incapacitated in an emergency.
* Perform in an emergency role as defined by the Company Emergency Response Procedure Manual and Station Bill.

Ensure optimal delivery of budgetary commitments within the Operations area.
Identify and act upon areas of efficiency to deliver cost savings without risking safety or production.
Lead and work effectively in a team, resolving operational issues as they occur.
Manage system issues and liaise with external support teams to resolve them.
Manage multiple work scopes, prioritizing and allocating resources for the best asset outcome.
Review plans for SIMOPS issues and resolve clashes proactively. Carry out complex fault-finding and plant optimization, liaising with clients & vendors remotely and locally to resolve issues.
