Residential Support Worker - Children's EBD Home Location: Leyland Salary: £13.50 per hour £50 per sleep-in Service Type: EBD Children's Home We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Residential Support Workers to join a brand-new children's home in Leyland, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new home from the start, making a real difference in the lives of children and young people by providing stability, care, and positive role modelling. Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people. Promote independence, resilience, and positive outcomes. Safeguard and protect the welfare of the children in your care. Work as part of a team to create a safe, nurturing environment. Contribute to care plans, reports, and key working sessions. Participate in sleep-in duties (additional £50 per sleep). Requirements: Experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar setting. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach. A full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential). Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards). Benefits: £13.50 per hour £50 per sleep-in.
