Qualified Nursery Practitioners Needed - Matlock
Are you a passionate and experienced Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible work across welcoming and supportive nursery settings? We are currently recruiting for qualified nursery staff to work across a variety of nurseries in Matlock.

The Role
We are looking for Level 2 (minimum) qualified EYFS practitioners with hands‑on nursery experience. You will be supporting children aged 0-5 in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Working Hours
Flexible shifts between 7:00am - 6:00pm
* Day‑to‑day supply
* Part‑time roles
* Full‑time positions
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework
* Planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
* Assisting with daily routines including:
o Feeding and snack times
o Nappy changing and toileting
o Sleep routines
* Observing, tracking, and recording children's development and progress
* Encouraging social, emotional, and physical development through play
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety at all times
* Supporting children with additional needs where required
* Working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the setting
Requirements
* Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (EYFS)
* Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
* A genuine passion for working with young children
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach
