About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Level 2 or 3 to join a dynamic team in a local school in the Chester area.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Support individual pupils and small groups in line with their educational plans.
Assist with implementing targeted learning interventions.
Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and social development.
Record progress and contribute to assessment reports.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff.
Support the development of pupils' independence and confidence.Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Learning Support, Teaching Assistant, or equivalent.
Experience supporting children with SEND preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children achieve their potential.
