Looking to further your career in SEND? Vision for Education are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / Creative Art Assistant to join our supply register. We work with SEN schools across Somerset to provide high quality supply staff on ad hoc, short term or long term bookings. When: ASAP
Pay: £13.68 p/h
Responsibilities
* Work with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, Autism and other Learning Difficulties in Bridgwater.
* Be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
* Build rapport quickly with students and support them in making positive choices.
Requirements
* Experience of working with secondary and primary school aged children in schools.
* Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
* A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.
* An ability to work as part of a team.
* An ability to build rapport quickly with students
* Key qualities such as: Patience, Sympathetic, Strong-willed
