Overview
Commercial Manager – HV and T&D Projects, Loughborough / Torquay - hybrid working. Fourblue are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager with strong NEC contract experience to join a forward-thinking engineering company in structural steel design, fabrication and installation, earthing, and mechanical installation for the UK T&D sector. This is a key role focused on driving commercial performance and delivering projects that keep the UK powered.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the commercial management of complex projects under NEC contracts.
- Advising on contracts from the outset to ensure the best outcomes for all parties.
- Keeping a close eye on costs, forecasting financial profiles, and protecting margins.
- Managing change control, early warnings, and compensation events with confidence.
- Building strong client relationships as the go-to commercial contact.
- Driving timely applications, payments, and cashflow management.
- Supporting tenders and bids with sharp commercial insight.
- Producing clear, accurate reports that influence decision-making at senior level.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- 10+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- High level of experience in NEC contracts
- Preferably experience seeing through similar projects end to end
- Right to work in the UK
