Research Engagement Manager (Genomics), Cambridge
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Research Engagement Manager to connect our Genomics research AI models (e.g., AlphaGenome, AlphaMissense) with the wider research community and foster engagement and feedback. In this role, you will collaborate with Research, Product, and Partnerships teams to design and execute strategies that increase awareness, adoption, and understanding of our technologies.
You will act as a bridge between our organization and the external Genomics community, engaging researchers and users, synthesizing insights, and communicating the impact of our work to benefit the broader ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
* Community Engagement & Development: Design and lead initiatives to strengthen community connections, participate in events, host workshops, contribute to forums, develop engagement strategies, and maintain relationships with external researchers, academic institutions, and nonprofits.
* User Support & Feedback: Provide technical support, respond to inquiries, deliver training sessions, and gather community feedback to improve user experience.
* Impact Identification & Storytelling: Identify impactful events, review scientific literature, develop case studies, and collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to share stories externally.
* Educational Content Creation: Create educational materials, guides, and tools to help researchers utilize our technologies effectively.
About you:
* Expertise in Genomics and AI: Strong background in genomics and AI applications in genomics, with a good understanding of the research landscape.
* Exceptional Communication: Experience in delivering technical workshops, simplifying scientific concepts, managing forums, and creating learning materials.
* Collaboration & Relationship Management: Ability to work effectively across teams.
* Project Management Skills: Capable of managing projects independently and end-to-end.
Delivery Focused: Results-driven, action-oriented, proactive in delivering outcomes.
