HG are recruiting HGV 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Welwyn Garden City on a long‑term basis with fixed shift patterns, with AM & PM vacancies. Previous experience of trunking is an advantage but not essential.
Shift & Pay
Pay rates: PAYE from £18.00-£22.18 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).
Shift start times available:
* 0600-1000 Start AM — 10-12 hour shifts
* 1600-2000 Start PM — 10-12 hour shifts
Benefits
* Regular work and job security (weekly bookings initially Monday-Friday)

Requirements
* HGV 1 license minimum with 6 months experience
* HGV 1 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
* Digital Tachograph and Driver Qualification Cards
* A good understanding of drivers hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
* Excellent geographical knowledge
* Customer-focused attitude
