* Reasonable Excel skills with the willingness to learn more.
* Experience in a finance department
* Just as important is the desire to learn about accounting in a busy finance team for a legal business.
Job Purpose
* To help ensure that the accounting records of the company are maintained on a timely and accurate basis.
* To post payments and receipts onto the bank account
* To prepare payment runs
* To reconcile bank account
* To post sales invoices
* To process client to office transfers
* To reconcile income accounts
* To liaise with suppliers
General Responsibilities and Key Tasks
* Maintain the Office Bank Account
* Ensure Income is properly recorded
* Prepare weekly payment run for both overhead and disbursement payments
* Further scope for accounting work
* Have a good understanding of Client Account procedures
