The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a GRP Finisher on behalf of our well-established client based in Littleborough.
This is a hands-on role working with fibreglass (GRP) products, ideal for candidates with a background in automotive body repair, GRP, or similar industries.
Job Duties Include:
* Finishing and inspecting GRP/fibreglass products to ensure they meet quality standards
* Using hand and power tools including sanders and buffers
* Carrying out necessary repairs to products
* Hand laminating and general GRP work
* Supporting with general warehouse duties
* Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
* Previous hands-on experience in a shop floor or manufacturing setting
* Experience with hand tools and power tools is essential
* Comfortable working in messy environments and around strong smells
* Background in car body repair or GRP work is highly desirable
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Working Hours:
* Monday - Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
* Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
* Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours
Pay Rates:
* Starting: £12.65 per hour
* After 6 weeks: £12.95 per hour
* Upon going permanent: £13.45 per hour
* + Overtime paid at time and a half
