An opportunity has arisen for a Rehabilitation Support Worker to join a specialist case management and rehabilitation company providing support work, case management, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and medico legal services to children and adults across North East England, North West England and Scotland. What you’ll be doing as Rehabilitation Support Worker: You will be required to work with a lovely and friendly gentleman with an acquired brain injury as part of an established team. He has a keen interest in all sport, but particularly football and rugby, and occasionally enjoys getting to view these matches locally. This post would ideally suit someone who enjoys listening to a wide genre of music and participating in general knowledge quizzes. You will support with his mobility and day-to-day living, encouraging him to access the community and social activities. You will work in his own home and out in the community, including frequent trips to coffee shops and catching up on the craic. This is a temporary role to cover sick leave, and the length of service will be discussed at interview. Duties will include supporting with prompts around personal care, social and leisure activities, administration of medication and following therapy programs set by physiotherapists.
