About the role
You will be working closely on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with special educational needs, experience of working with children with SEND would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will be patient and kind and willing to identify triggers for negative behaviour choices. Someone who is willing to create a routine and environment for the child that is safe, comfortable and conducive to learning. This is a full time role from Monday-Friday as there is a strong need for consistency. The role will also involve working with groups of children who require additional support to complete set activities.

Requirements:
1. You will need to be an experience Teaching Assistant with recent experience of supporting children within a primary school setting
2. You will need to hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare
3. Knowledge and/or experience with children with special educational needs
4. To be patient, kind and resilient
5. To be willing to process or have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Salary
£89 to £100 per day.
